At present, the Planet Tag resides within the DHL depot in Laindon, Essex.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, during it&#8217;s first day of travel I have been keeping an eye on the progress (probably a little too much) and have constantly been viewing the journey of the Planet Tag. I can only describe it&#8217;s initial departure as a dog chasing its own tail!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not overly sure what I was expecting from the initial departure. Whilst I don&#8217;t understand the inner workings of world logistics, I had kind of hoped that the Planet Tag would have achieved a greater distance from it&#8217;s start position than the whopping 13 miles it&#8217;s currently completed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Smart Tag is providing me with regular updates to confirm that it&#8217;s &#8220;alive and well&#8221; which can only mean there are plenty of Samsung using employees within this branch of DHL.<\/p>\n<p>For those that don&#8217;t know, the Samsung Tag has no sim card which would normally be found in older tracking devices. It uses a connection with &#8216;local&#8217; Samsung devices to return data to&#8230; &#8220;the internet&#8221; and somehow by magic, inform me of changes in location.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-26e5478 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"26e5478\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-025658f\" data-id=\"025658f\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40fd5d2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"40fd5d2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I hope to provide further updates at some point tomorrow. However as it stands, the results could be deemed to be slightly disappointing, what with the device travelling a mere 13 miles.<\/p>\n<p>However to take a positive from todays report, DHL did what they said they were going to do. To my surprise, I&#8217;ve just received a ping from the device stating that it is currently travelling anticlockwise around the M25 passing the St Albans area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>DHL again exceeding expectations, for now!
