Across the pond!

Further to yesterdays update in relation to the speculation that the Planet Tag could be on the aforementioned DHL Flight D0302 from Brussels to Atlanta, for once, I actually got something right!

A whole 54 minutes after DHL’s Boeing 767-304 touched down in Atlanta, I received a ping informing me that the Planet Tag is ‘alive’ and well.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is currently the busiest airport in the world! Statistics show that over 108 million passengers travel through this airport in a year. Now it’s 108 million passengers and one little Planet Tag.

As I write this post, we have had no communication from the smart tag for just over 9 hours now. Given that it’s currently 6am in Atlanta, it could be that there are no Samsung Galaxy users near the smart tag (likely) or it could be that the smart tag is already in transit to New Orleans.

With nothing further to report and the anticipated arrival date still showing with DHL as Monday 23rd of January, I can confirm we are up to date as of (11:15am UK time) and it could be another three days before the next post, however hopefully there is some action before then.

For now, with the DHL Atlanta Airport depot being closed for a further three hours (according to google), the Planet Tag can sleep off it’s jet lag and get some well deserved rest after a brutal and gruelling 48 hours of travel.
