So with “Funky Pidgeon” delivering the keyring, we now have everything we need to get this thing on it’s way around the world. Included within the package will be the Smart Tag, Keyring and a 32GB USB stick for participants to add whatever their heart desires for future recipients.
For those with 20/20 vision (or those who just read my previous post), the first destination for the Planet Tag is due to be New Orleans in the USA.
The latest update from DHL (the fine, well oiled machine that they are) is that they’ve kindly given me the precise collection slot of 9am – 6pm tomorrow. The convenient 9 hour window we could only of have dreamed of for 2023.
DHL have advised that they anticipate the arrival of the package to be Monday 23rd of January. So with this in mind, trusting the unique service of an establishment such as DHL with the Planet Tag, we can say if it arrives at all, it will be a miracle. If it turns up at some point before the end of the month, it will be a bonus!
After paying for postage I was confronted with a message stating that the package ‘must not contain batteries’. Given there is just the one singular battery and I have disclosed the contents of the package to the courier, I can only hope that all will be fine.
Further updates are due to be added tomorrow once the package leaves the exotic climate of the world famous Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, England.
